Matter.Less also takes to social media to encourage poetry writing among the public, through hosting monthly poetry challenges on their Instagram account (@yangguangcaihongxiaobaima). During these poetry challenges, a series of prompts that are curated around a specific theme will be released over a schedule via Instagram posts.

Poetry Challenge

How it works: 

  1. Respond to a prompt (or not, if you just feel like sharing poetry)

  2. Post it on your Instagram/Facebook story or post

  3. Tag @yangguangcaihongxiaobaima (Instagram) or @matter.less.sg (Facebook) and use relevant hashtags

  4. All poems will be reposted by Matter.Less via Instagram story and archived in highlights, to be viewed by the public

  5. Selected poems will be featured in Matter.Less publications
